You Are Rorschach

This text adventure, or interactive fiction if you want to be all modern about it, is set in the world of Watchmen, the acclaimed graphic novel by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons and John Higgins. It's a completely unofficial, not for profit fan project.

It is very much like the 'choose your own adventure' or 'fighting fantasy' books that I used to play in the 1980s. Except this time you don't need a pencil, paper or a D6. And it is a little harder to cheat by keeping your fingers in the previous pages.

You play Watchmen's damaged anti-hero Rorschach, a masked vigilante who has no super powers but makes up for it with an eye for detail, intimidation and a capacity for improvised mayhem. The story is told from Rorschach's perspective, with all of his idiosyncratic speech patterns and unique worldview. There's quite a lot of violence.
